Q2 2024 Dining & Restaurants App Trends in a Unified Platform

The second quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for the dining and restaurant application sector on the unified platform. Data from Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the performance of the top five apps in this category. Let's delve into the trends of downloads and weekly active users.

Zomato: Food Delivery & Dining saw its downloads peak at around 13K during the week of May 20th, with weekly active users reaching their highest at nearly 49K in the same period. The trend for downloads showed an increase from 3K to over 10K, with weekly active users fluctuating but ultimately increasing from 32K to 47K.

McDonald’s - Non-US maintained a steady download rate, starting at 2.6K and experiencing a slight increase to 3.2K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users exhibited a consistent trend, hovering around 30K throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to just over 31K.

BURGER KING® Magyarország showed an upward trend in downloads, starting at 364 and surging to 1.7K during the week of May 20th. Weekly active users also saw growth, starting at around 3.4K and reaching 5.7K by the end of June.

Domino's Pizza Bulgaria had a more modest increase in downloads, beginning the quarter at 1.2K and ending with fewer than 1K. The app's weekly active users started at 214 and showed a gradual increase, peaking at 469 in the first week of June.

KFC Nederland experienced a notable rise in downloads, with numbers climbing from 177 to 730 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at around 1.4K and increasing to over 2.1K.
